Hi friend! I’m Karley…An engineer turned side hustler turned entrepreneur 

I’ve always loved to feel a sense of purpose and the warmth of a community around me. I started Life By Kar just one week out of college when I was itching to pursue a new hobby before my engineering career officially began. I had no idea at the time that this hobby blog would change my life! 

Since then, Life by Kar has grown to be much more than a blog – it’s a home for the woman wanting more. I paired my creative problem solving and thinking skills as an engineer with my love of marketing, writing, and community to create a safe space that encourages women to start their own side hustles. 

I love to stay busy and dream up some magic with my clients, but when I’ve got some downtime, I spend it exploring nature with my fiancé Nick and our dogs Rico + Stryker.
